That our generous members have prepared lovingly and served 635 meals this year for clients attending the Cafe of Life, Leitner Park in Bonita Springs.
The meals have been prepared at our members homes and served on the following dates this year:
January 3, January 31, February 7, March 21, April 4, and April 18. Christus Victor serves on Tuesdays. The meals we serve include:
Entree, Potatoes (if needed), Vegetable, Salad, Hard Boiled Eggs, Fruit, String Cheese and sometimes cookies or chips!
Some of our entrees this year have been Ham, Chicken, Beef Enchiladas, Brats, Sloppy Joes, Lasagna and Mostaccioli.
Can you even imagine what it would be like to not know when you would be eating your next meal? The following have represented Christus Victor this year preparing and serving these most nutritious meals:

One of our members, Terry Marries, drives the Cafe of Life bus weekly assisting clients to the Cafe for their daily meal. Bus drivers will be needed this summer.

When you give a luncheon or a dinner do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, in case they may invite you in return, and you would be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame and the blind. And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you.
