Pastor Walt is new to the Christus Victor Lutheran Church family. He and his wife Katie are in the process of moving to the area from Minnesota. They have two grown sons, Noah and Mark. For over twenty-five years, Pastor Walt has served as a Lutheran pastor. Previous pastorates include Faith Lutheran Church, New Providence, New Jersey, and St. James Lutheran Church, Burnsville, Minnesota. He is the author of two books (Lighting Your Way with Love: A father shares faith and wisdom with his son and Backyard Parables: Discovering Wisdom Close to Home) and numerous online devotional resources. In addition to writing, preaching, and teaching, he enjoys watercolor painting, woodworking, grilling, walks on the beach, and getting on the water in his canoe.

Joyce Reitz has been serving as our Director of Music since 2011.  Joyce was born in Cairnbrook, PA  a very small coal town in Somerset County.  She studied piano and organ under Rita Sadlon, the organist at her home church, and pipe organ at Shippensburg University. She has been playing for congregations since age 13, and has served as organist, pianist, and choir director of many churches in PA and FL. She is enjoying working with Pastor Tom, the choir, the office staff, and getting to know the congregation.  Her favorite past times are working in her yard, doing odd jobs around her home, and helping her neighbors.
