Victory Park
A gorgeous 5-acre park with beautiful water feature and pathways highlighted by the Stations of the Cross. Benches, Pavilion, and Outdoor Worship area all provide various spaces to sit and enjoy God’s creation.
Named for Pastor Tom Slater who spearheaded the restoration project many years ago, this area is designed with peace and meditation in mind, as well as events and activities.
Please Note: Dogs are not allowed.
Events at Victory Park
Keep an eye on our Upcoming Events for worship and celebrations held in our park, and stop by anytime to walk the Stations of the Cross, enjoy the quiet green space, or simply meditate and pray amidst the beauty of God’s creation.
Entrance Area
Victory Park has three (3) separate entrances within the gated area surrounding the park. There is plenty of parking and the gated area is always open. Walking into the Park you immediately feel the preciousness of this sacred space. A place set apart for thinking, for meditation, and for refreshment.
The picturesque fountain in the center of the Park provides that marvelous sound of falling water and the visual appeal as the water cascades will supplement your enjoyment of all the features available in the park.
Keep your eyes open – nature is always here in some form or another!

Worship Area
This Area set apart for unique small worship settings, such as the Early Morning Easter Sunrise Service, is designed with openness and communing with nature as its foundation. Bring your Bible, or your Devotions, and make time to enjoy this warm space.
Worship the Lord with Gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.
PSALM 100:2
Pavilion Area
This wonderful space within Victory Park is designed for outdoor eating, fun activities, or just a place to read a good book under the fans on a warm summer day. Picnic tables provide a perfect place to play games, share stories, and just simply to enjoy the beautiful trees and foliage all around you.
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, we will say. Rejoice!
PHILIPPIANS 4:4
Burial Area
Losing someone is hard and if the loss is unexpected, it’s even more challenging. CVLC has been able to provide a beautiful resting spot for the cremated remains of loved ones. With a Remembrance Wall to house Memorial Plaques, this area is set apart for the bereaved to find comfort and solace when needed.
Therefore, we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Stations of the Cross
The entire Victory Park area is ringed with a paved walkway that features the 16 Stations of the Cross. Each Station is equipped with a bench for private meditation and prayer.
Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.
