Cafe of Life is in need of volunteers at their serving site for the summer. Many of the faithful volunteers go north for the summer, so there is a need for extra hands.
In addition to making and serving meals, Cafe of Life would like to have volunteers read a Bible story to the children Monday – Friday 9:15-10am. Most of the pre-school age children do not speak English yet, so anyone who is bilingual would be a real plus, because the children get excited when the story is in Spanish! Being bilingual is not required, as the children also love to see the pictures. Please consider this opportunity as an easy way to give to our local community, as well as to receive the “warm fuzzy feeling” that comes from helping children.
