Lent can be a wonderful time of refreshment and renewal. As we turn our hearts and minds towards God, there is Living Water to quench our parched spirits. To help with this, Pastor Walt has created a daily devotional entitled, Water Ways: A Baptismal Journey in Lent. Beginning on Wednesday, February 22, you will receive an email containing scripture, a reflection, prayer, and a few questions to ponder.
Starting on Ash Wednesday, gather with your CVLC friends for a time of food and fellowship at 6:00 p.m. prior to evening worship. Lent Soup Supper is a great way to feed your body and spirit. Donations of soup are needed. You can sign up on the sheet on the bulletin board in the narthex. CVLC Parish and Congregational Life Committee is providing bread and beverages.
