The Book of Revelation is one of the Bible’s most difficult and misunderstood books. Over the coming weeks, Pastor Walt will lead a deep dive into this challenging biblical book, whether you are in person and/or use CVLC’s online resources. Use one or more of these opportunities to learn and grow in your faith. No prior bible-experience is needed. Everyone is welcome, so bringing a friend (or sharing the devotional link) is always acceptable and encouraged.

On Sundays from May 18 through June 29, there will be Adult Sunday School. The Book of Revelation has inspired and informed Christian worship for centuries. We will explore the worship aspect of St. John’s prophetic vision together.

Pastor Walt’s Bible & BBQ is back! Throughout the summer, we will gather at 5:00 p.m. in Victory Park for BBQ and another installment of the pastor’s study on Revelation. Registration ahead of time is strongly encouraged to help with food quantities.

Ever wonder (or worry) about the Book of Revelation? It is one of the Bible’s most difficult and misunderstood books. This ancient letter is filled with fantasmic images that, at times, are downright scary. Yet, it has inspired generations of hymns and comforted struggling people of faith.
Grounded in God’s grace and Christian hope, Pastor Walt created this devotional as a resource to engage the Book of Revelation with an eye to its comforting and challenging message.
Like Walt’s other works, this series will include Inspirational Images, stories, prayerful poems, and reflections. New to this series will be short-form teaching videos that provide quick lessons on the Book of Revelation. You will be able to participate in an online discussion (details to follow) on the video content.
This four-week series starts on Pentecost, June 8, 2025. Sign up below to receive your first devotional on the 8th. If you sign up after that date, you will receive your first devotional the next day.
